    Bright Fame Pictures has profiled itself as an up and coming film studio that brings to life genre crossover films that do not shy away from taboos. Its ambitious films have been distributed in over forty countries and they’ve been covered in news outlets such as Golden Globes, Los Angeles Times and Variety.

    The company has produced and distributed figure skating thriller Free Skate (Roope Olenius, 2022), psychological thriller Red Static (Sami Pöyry, 2021) and internationally awarded hillbilly horror Tuftland (Roope Olenius, 2017). In addition, the company has produced and released two feature length making-of documentaries: How We Made Free Skate (2023) and From Stage to Screen: Kyrsyä – Tuftland (2018).

     

    Bright Fame Pictures is part of Talous-Markka Oy, which is a family business established in 1984. Bright Fame Pictures employs four people and is run by producers Roope Olenius and Veera W. Vilo.
